Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) course is aimed at end users in order to educate them about the main threats to their data’s security. It will immerse students into an interactive environment where they will acquire fundamental understanding of various computer and network security threats such as identity theft, credit card fraud, online banking phishing scams, virus and backdoors, emails hoaxes, sex offenders lurking online, loss of confidential information, hacking attacks and social engineering. More importantly, the skills learnt from the class helps students take the necessary steps to mitigate their security exposure.

This course is specifically designed for todays' computer users who uses the internet and the www extensively to work, study and play.
As the internet is quickly moving into a necessity, so is the need to learn how to safely browse, watch videos, send email, and even work online!
No pre-requisites to attend the course.
The age requirement for attending the training or attempting the exam is restricted to any candidate that is at least 13 years old.
If the candidate is under the age of 13, they are not eligible to attend the official training or eligible to attempt the certification exam unless they provide a written consent of their parent/legal guardian and a supporting letter from their institution of higher learning

David Bigger – David Bigger, born in Owensboro, Kentucky has gone on to have a promising career as an IT Professional. He started his young career at an elementary school where he was a network administrator but known as the go to guy for anything electronic. In 2002 he became the web services manager and server admin at Owensboro Community and Technical College where he worked for seven years. During his employment with the college he became a part-time instructor teaching information technology courses, Microsoft Active Directory and Introduction to Computers, for the community college.
In early 2009 David started work with the US Military as a lead instructor where he was responsible for training military personnel and government civilians while leading course development for instructors. Currently David is an Independent Contractor as an IT Trainer and Consultant with Bigger IT Solutions. Specializing in Cyber Security, David, strives to push his students preparing them for the future. David has attained multiple professional IT certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, EXIN, ISC2 and EC-Council.
